Trusted external identity providers (IDP) can connect any external IDP, such as a social IDP, Electronic Identity (eID), or wallet.

The connection to the external IDP is supported based on the OpenID Connect and SAML industry standards. Wallets can also be integrated based on API contracts.

Thales supports all European identity providers (eIDs) that are approved as part of eIDaS.

The data that is collected from the external IDP or wallet is configurable. This data can be used for profile creation or update, and in the assertion or token.
