The look up data building block can connect to any external service based on the REST API protocol.

This task facilitates matching through an external service and can also be used for retrieving from or sending data to any external service. It establishes a connection to the external service using a REST API. The API interface and contract of the external service can be defined flexibly.

To ensure security, the connection between the services can be protected through multiple measures, such as basic authentication, mutual TLS, and IP allow-listing.
