You can specify which groups of users are granted or denied access to applications when their access attempt meets the conditions in a policy or scenario.

When a user attempts to access an application that is listed in a policy configured with Denied, STA displays "Your access is denied".

Grant or deny access from a policy

1. On the STA Access Management console, select the Policies tab, select the policy that you want to edit.

2. On the policy, click Edit.

3. In the Users section, select one of the following options:

   • All Users

   • Any of these User Groups and then enter the affected user groups.

4. In the Applications section, select one of the following options:

   • All Applications

   • Any of these Applications and then enter the affected applications.

5. Under Default Decision, select either Granted or Denied .

6. Click Save.

Grant or deny access from a scenario

1. On the STA Access Management console, select the Policies tab, click the menu on the scenario, and then select Edit.

2. Under Decision, select either Granted or Denied.

3. Click Save to save your changes.
