Testing the Solution

Perform the below steps to test the application:

1. Access the protected application using https://<publicdomain>/<application name>.

   • In case of Custom Authentication, you will be redirected to STA sign-in page for authentication.

   • In case of Basic Authentication, you will be redirected to the SafeNet App Gateway login page.

     • Enter your domain credentials. You will be redirected to STA for 2-Factor authentication.

   • In case of Form Authentication, you will be redirected to the SafeNet App Gateway login page.

     • Enter your domain credentials. You will be redirected to STA for 2-Factor authentication.

2. Enter your STA credentials.

3. After the successful authentication from STA, you should be redirected to the protected application.

To resolve the IP, Fully Qualified Domain Name (FQDN) should be mapped in the docker-container's host file.
