Session configuration

On the administration console, go to the Configuration section, select System, and then click the Session tab.

The image below shows the Session view on the admin console with a sample configuration.

Inactivity timeout

This value controls how long a user's session stays active before expiring if they have not interacted with the system. Each interaction with the system extends the session by this configured amount.

Maximum session length

The maximum amount of time that a user can be logged in for (in minutes). After this time period, the user is forced to log in again.

Updates

After updating these values, it only affects new sessions or sessions that have been updated after the values were saved. It does not force the expiration of existing sessions that have not been interacted with or updated.
