SafeNet MobilePASS+ Windows FIDO SDK
Product Description
The SafeNet MobilePASS+ Windows FIDO SDK enables Windows applications to function as FIDO2/WebAuthn authenticators. After integration, the application appears as a passkey provider in the Windows passkey picker during passkey registration and sign-in. The SDK stores credentials on the device and protects them with the platform Trusted Platform Module (TPM). It uses Windows Hello for user verification, enabling phishing-resistant, passwordless authentication.

The release of Windows FIDO SDK 1.0.0 supports the following features:
-
FIDO2 protocol handling (MakeCredential, GetAssertion): Creates passkeys at sign-up and verifies them at sign-in, using the standard FIDO2/WebAuthn flow.
-
Secure key generation and storage using NCrypt: Passkey keys are generated and locked inside the device's TPM.
-
Credential lifecycle management: Users can view and delete passkeys.
-
WebAuthn platform integration: Appears as a native option in the Windows sign-in picker alongside Windows Hello.
-
COM class factory implementation: Registers the app with Windows so it reliably responds to passkey requests.
