Subscriber Group Management
Tenant Administrators manage subscriber groups. They can add, edit or delete subscriber groups as necessary.
Tip
We recommend users avoid including special characters such as !@#$%^&(), in common fields such as the Account name or Subscriber Group name as these characters can cause errors in the platform.
Adding a subscriber group
Subscriber groups must exist before creating any application owners that you intend to assign to the subscriber group.
To add a subscriber group

Select the Accounts tab and click Subscriber Groups.

Click the Subscriber Group tile.

In the Add Subscriber Group window, enter the Group Name and optionally a Description.

Click Add.
The new group appears in the My Subscriber Groups table.
Editing a subscriber group
Tenant administrators can edit the names or descriptions of their subscriber groups.
To edit a subscriber group

Select the Accounts tab and click Subscriber Groups.
Existing subscriber groups are listed under the My Subscriber Groups table heading.

Click the name of the subscriber group under the Name column.
The subscriber group's details page displays.

Click the Edit icon in the upper right corner to enable editing.

Edit the subscriber group's Name and/or Description.

When complete, click Save Changes or Cancel.
You are returned to the subscriber Subscriber Groups details page.
Deleting a subscriber group
Tenant administrators can remove unnecessary subscriber groups.
Remove all application owners from a subscriber group before you can delete the subscriber group. If there are inactive application owners in a subscriber group that you would like to delete:
To remove inactive application owners from a subscriber group

Reset the application owner passwords and access the accounts to remove all associated services.

Delete all of the application owners in the subscriber group.

Delete the subscriber group.
Caution
Deleting a Luna Cloud HSM Service removes the service from the database and deletes all cryptographic objects off the HSM. Ensure that your application owners have moved any essential cryptographic objects off the Luna Cloud HSM Service before deletion.
To delete a subscriber group

Select the Accounts tab and click Subscriber Groups.
Existing subscriber groups are listed under the My Subscriber Groups table heading.

Click the name of the subscriber group under the Name column.
The subscriber group's details page displays.

Click the Delete Subscriber Group icon in the upper right corner.

Click Delete.
