Fingerprint Management
Enhancing security for the FIDO key is possible by adding a fingerprint for authentication. Currently, the FIDO key supports adding only one fingerprint per key. To add a fingerprint, use the Add fingerprint option. Additionally, the Manage fingerprint feature allows users to delete or rename the fingerprint. You can enroll your fingerprint using a Bio Fingerprint-enabled card, which enhances your security.
The Add/Manage fingerprint option is available only with FIDO 2.1 Bio enabled cards.
Add Fingerprint
Below are the steps to add a fingerprint.

Click on the Add fingerprint button as shown below.

Click on the Get Started button to start the fingerprint enrollment process.

You will be prompted to enter the fingerprint enrollment PIN. On successful validation of PIN, you can start the process of adding fingerprint.

The wizard will guide you through the process of adding your fingerprint. If you decide at any point that you no longer want to proceed, you can click to abort the process.

Upon successful enrollment, you can name the fingerprint.

You can save the fingerprint with any user-friendly name.

The new fingerprint will be visible in the Fingerprint grid as shown below.
Manage Fingerprint
Once a fingerprint is enrolled, the Add fingerprint button changes to Manage fingerprint. This functionality can be used to edit/delete fingerprints.

Click on Manage fingerprint.
The grid is displayed, showing the saved fingerprints.

Click on Rename to rename the existing fingerprint.

Click Save to successfully update the fingerprint details.
Delete Fingerprint
Follow the below steps to delete a fingerprint.

Click Delete to delete the enrolled fingerprints.

A confirmation pop-up appears, click Delete to confirm the delete operatiom.

On successful deletion, a success toast message is displayed.
