Credential management

You can view all credentials registered on a FIDO key and delete any credentials that are no longer needed.

The FIDO key enables authentication for different websites by registering with each site. All registration details, including the credentials used and the website name, are stored in the key. When the key reaches its data storage capacity it prevents further registrations.

This option is unavailable with the FIDO 2.0 key. Some accounts may not be displayed due to the website's settings.

View credentials

To view credentials:

1. Open FIDO Key Manager.

2. Select Manage credentials.

   

3. Enter the user PIN for an unmanaged card (shown) or the admin PIN for a managed card.

   

4. The Manage Credentials screen displays.

   

5. Use the search field to find matching text in the Website, User name, and Credential ID columns.

Delete a credential

To delete a credential:

1. Open FIDO Key Manager.

2. Select Manage credentials.

   

3. Select Delete on the Manage credentials page.

   

4. Selecct Delete to confirm.
