SafeNet FIDO Key Manager for macOS

SafeNet FIDO Key Manager for macOS allows administrators and users to manage and setup Thales FIDO USB tokens and smartcards. You can use FIDO keys for secure and phishing-resistant authentication. With SafeNet FIDO Key Manager, you can configure the basic specifications as well as the unique security and control features that Thales FIDO keys offer.

FIDO Key Manager for macOS operates on macOS Ventura (13.0) and higher.

Supported language

FIDO Key Manager for macOS supports the English language only.

Install FIDO Key Manager for macOS

To install FIDO Key Manager:

• Download and install the SafeNet FIDO Key Manager application from the App Store.

  After the application is installed, its icon displays on your computer’s installed application list under the Start menu.

Open FIDO Key Manager for macOS

To open FIDO Key Manager:

1. Simply click on the app icon from the launch pad.

2. Select Next on the tutorial screen that displays the first time the application is opened.

   

3. Select Next.

   

4. Select Get Started to start the tutorial.

   

5. If no Thales FIDO keys are connected, the application prompts you to insert one.
