Bulk configuration

You can configure all cards and tokens connected to the tablet or PC in bulk. This feature is available on the No device page, FIDO list page, and Device info page.

Note

The unblock feature will always be enabled regardless of the card type or whether a card has been attached.

To use bulk configuration:

1. Open SafeNet FIDO Key Manager

2. Select Admin > Bulk configuration.

   

3. Complete the following mandatory fields: Admin pin, Minimum PIN length, User Pin, and Allowed websites.

   

   Note

   Separate the allowed website names with semicolons ";".

   

4. Select Start configuration.

   The application reads the devices that are attached.

   

   

   Note

   You can add or remove multiple devices throughout the process, or stop the activity by selecting Stop configuration. Otherwise, the app will continue reading and configuring the connected devices.

   

5. To save a record of the bulk configuration, select Export logs.

   

   The text log files display on your PC.

   

Export a bulk configuration

You can save a bulk configuration to an XML file, as follows:

1. Select Export XML.

   

2. Save the bulk configuration file to XML.

   

Import a bulk configuration file

You can import a bulk configuration file using the Import Configuration option, as follows:

1. Select Import XML.

   

2. Select a bulkConfiguration.xml file and then select Open.

   

   The configuration saved in the XML file displays.
