Key Use Guide

Once you have added a Key Broker for Google Cloud EKM master key using the Key Setup Guide you can use the external key to encrypt data in the following scenarios:

• Protecting BigQuery data with Cloud KMS keys
• Protecting Compute Engine resources with Cloud KMS keys
• Encrypting and decrypting data with a symmetric key
