Service Plans

Luna Cloud HSM Service service plans define the number of available partitions for configuring on the Luna Cloud HSM Service. Available service plans are dependent on the marketplace where you are provisioning the service.

Luna Cloud HSM Services provisioned through the Thales Data Protection on Demand platform provide access to a single partition per service.

Luna Cloud HSM Services provisioned through external marketplaces, such as Google Cloud Marketplace, service plans can include multiple partitions per service and specify the duration of the plan. See Create Partition for more information about configuring your service partitions.

Upgrading your service plan

Service plans provisioned through Google Cloud Platform Marketplace upgrade automatically as soon as you select a new service plan in the marketplace.

Downgrading your service plan

Service plans provisioned through Google Cloud Platform Marketplace downgrade at the end of the current service term. Downgrading a service plan when you have more resources than the target service plan will fail. Delete the extra resources on your Luna Cloud HSM Service before downgrading your service plan.
