Thales Authenticator Lifecycle Manager supports customized workflows that can be triggered by external systems or accessed through specialized pages. These workflows are designed to streamline specific operational scenarios beyond standard administrative flows.

Currently, Thales Authenticator Lifecycle Manager provides the User-Based FIDO Assignment via URL workflow.

This workflow enables an external application to initiate a dedicated assignment URL to simplify FIDO device enrollment. Using this approach, the external system can:

  • Open a user‑specific assignment URL

  • Map the user to the tenant’s default identity provider (IDP)

  • Complete device configuration and enrollment for a connected FIDO device
