Installing Multiple Clients on Linux Operating System
Tip
Luna Cloud HSM Services provisioned through the Thales Data Protection on Demand marketplace user interfaces refer to a service client. Luna Cloud HSM Services provisioned through external marketplaces user interfaces refer to a partition client. The documentation refers to these components as the client.
You can install and run multiple separate clients on the same Linux host. The following are examples of possible multiple client configurations:
- Client 1 connected to Partition A and Client 2 connected to Partition B
- Client 1 and Client 2 connected to Partition A
If you want to install clients for the same Luna Cloud HSM Service on separate host systems, simply download a new client from the DPoD platform and repeat the procedure described in Add and Configure a Service Client for each of the host systems.
