Managing AWS Templates
The templates store and manage AWS policy templates (in JSON format) to be used as a base for creating key policies.
This section covers the following topics:
Creating Templates
To create a template:
Open the Cloud Key Manager application.
In the left pane, click Cloud Keys > AWS. By default, the Keys tab is selected.
Click the Templates tab.
Click Create Template. The Create Template wizard is displayed.
Enter Name.
Enter JSON.
Click Save.
A success message is displayed on the screen.
Viewing Templates
To view the templates:
Open the Cloud Key Manager application.
In the left pane, click Cloud Keys > AWS. By default, the Keys tab is selected.
Click the Templates tab. The list of available templates is displayed. The tab shows the following details:
Column Name Description Template Name Name of the template. Creation Date Time when the template is created.
Updating Templates
To update the templates:
Open the Cloud Key Manager application.
In the left pane, click Cloud Keys > AWS. By default, the Keys tab is selected.
Click the Templates tab. The list of available templates is displayed.
Click the Template Name link of the desired template. The View/Edit Template wizard is displayed.
Update the JSON details.
Click Update.
A success message is displayed on the screen.
Deleting Templates
To delete a template:
Open the Cloud Key Manager application.
In the left pane, click Cloud Keys > AWS. By default, the Keys tab is selected.
Click the Templates tab. The list of available templates is displayed.
Click Delete Template corresponding to the desired template. The Delete Template dialog box is displayed.
Deleting a template is permanent and cannot be undone. Keys using this template will not be affected. Are you sure you want to delete this template?
Click Delete Template.
A success message is displayed on the screen.
