Managing FAM Policies and Rules
The primary job of a DSF Hub user is to create policies that protect data. Policies govern access to the files in GuardPoints. FAM policies allow you to manage the FAM audit rules.
Viewing FAM Policies
The FAM Policies page shows the list of configured FAM policies with their details such as names, versions, and descriptions.
To view the complete list of configured FAM policies:
Open the Transparent Encryption application.
Click Policies. The Policies page is displayed
Click the FAM Policies tab. The FAM Policies tab provides the list of added FAM policies. The tab displays the following details:
Column Description Name Unique name of the FAM policy. Version Version of the FAM policy. Click to view the version history of the FAM policy. Created At The time when the FAM policy is created. Updated At The time when the FAM policy is updated. Description (Optional) Description of the FAM policy.
By default, the FAM policies are displayed in descending order by Updated At. By default, 10 records per page are displayed. Adjust pagination and/or the number of records to display per page to view more records.
