DPoD Commercial Arrangements
To meet the varying needs of different end customers, Data Protection on Demand (DPoD) services are offered under different commercial arrangements. This document describes these arrangements, along with the associated charges and pricing models.
Customers subscribe to one or more service instances (quantity) of a service type (product) for a defined time period (term).
For new DPoD service purchases, the DPoD platform supports the following set of subscription types:

Overage usage is invoiced monthly in arrears, per calendar month, and billed on separate invoices. |

Upfront plans are available for 1, 2, 3 or 5 years, and are invoiced to the Bill To party, either on a single invoice for the full value of the subscription over that time, or annually. | Plans without Overage cannot have additional services instances added. |
Some services are available under a restricted number of subscription types, for example Term Upfront only.
Term discounts apply as follows:

Volume bands apply to the price list for each service type per subscription. Volume bands are not combined across multiple subscriptions.
Overage usage is charged at the same volume band as the committed service quantity. Under-usage under one subscription does not offset overage usage on another subscription.

At the end of a subscription term, a fourth subscription category takes effect:

| Uncommitted Monthly Arrears | Uncommitted service usage is invoiced to the Bill To party in arrears monthly, per calendar month. Any applicable term discounts end when the previous term expires. Term subscriptions do not auto-renew. |
Renewals of term commitments can be booked up to three months before the current subscription expires. Renewals may be backdated to the 1st day of the current month.
Re-subscriptions for uncommitted terms—such as when starting a new subscription or returning to one of the available plans—can be made at any time. Re-subscriptions may be backdated to the 1st day of the current month.
