Client Logs
This section provides resolution to issues that you may encounter/face while working with the SafeNet IDPrime Virtual (IDPV) solution.
The following settings are written to the Log section in the SafeNet\Authentication\SAC\Log
registry key to enable the client logging.
These settings are defined using HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE or HKEY_CURRENT_USER

Enabled Determines if the SafeNet Authentication Client Log feature is enabled. |
Registry Value Name: Enabled Value: 1 - Enabled 0 – Disabled Default: 0 (Disabled) |
Days Defines the number of days log files will be saved from the time the log feature was enabled. |
Registry Value Name: Days Value: Enter the number of days (numerical). Default: 1 day |
MaxFileSize Defines the maximum size of an individual log file. Once the maximum fil size is reached, SAC removes older log records to allow saving newer log information. |
Registry Value Name: MaxFileSize Value: Enter a value in Bytes. Default: 2000000 (Bytes) (Approximately 2MB) |
When Client Log enabled, user must restart the IDPrime Virtual Client to get the IDPrime Virtual Client logs stored together with SafeNet Minidriver and SafeNet Authentication Client logs in: C:Windows\Temp\eToken.log
