Ping Identity
This document describes how to integrate PingFederate with the SafeNet IDPrime Virtual (IDPV) Server as an Identity Provider (IdP). This provides the ability to enable single sign-on for users accessing SafeNet IDPrime Virtual through PingFederate.
Prerequisites
The following prerequisites are required to complete the integration:
- Running PingFederate 11.0.1.1
- Running SafeNet IDPrime Virtual Server 2.x
- IDPV Client 2.4.0.xxx installed on Windows 10 enterprise
- Running Windows 2016 Domain environment (Optional).
We are using Microsoft Windows 2016 domain environment for this integration but you can use any supported user data store.
Before proceeding with this integration, ensure that PingFederate is configured with a valid SSL certificate and is communicating with the applicable user store (like Active directory etc.). To manage SSL certificates on PingFederate server, refer to Manage SSL server certificates.
