CDP for Teradata VCL Workflow
Deployment Flow
The following steps summarize the CDP for Teradata VCL deployment flow:
The Application Data Protection Administrator defines an application on the CipherTrust Manager.
A registration token (RegToken) is returned in response.
The Application Data Protection Administrator gives the registration token (RegToken) to the team to insert it into their Teradata Orchestrator configuration for CDP for Teradata VCL deployment.
The Teradata Orchestrator runs the deployment script. CDP for Teradata VCL docker containers are up and ready to serve the requests.
Post-deployment Flow
After the CDP for Teradata VCL docker containers are live, they will fetch keys and configurations from the CipherTrust Manager and protect/reveal data based on the user requirements.
