To create Oracle TDE authentication credentials on the CipherTrust Manager:
Log on to the Console as an administrator.
Go to Users. Click Create New User. The Create New User dialog box is displayed.
Enter the desired Username and Password. Click Create.
The new user is created and added to the list of existing users.
Click the user profile name. Select the Key User permission check box.
Click Save.
The CipherTrust Manager allows use of obfuscated credentials. For more information on methods that can be employed to make credentials more secured, refer to Securing Credentials.
