2. Changing the Initial Password

The initial password must be changed before using the Thales Data Platform.

You should perform this step through ssh/putty because a private key will be generated and you will need to copy-and-paste it from the terminal to a file. You need the public hostname of the TDP instance (in VMware or AWS), to be able to ssh to it.

The initial root credentials for the image are:

Login: root

Password: thales123

The user will be prompted to change the root password after the initial login.
