Resize an encrypted column
Steps
Decrypt the column using the pdbctl utility. Refer to Decrypt a column for details.
Modify the column size in the base table.
Configure the column for encryption. You can set the column-level encryption properties using any of these options:
CipherTrust Manager UI. Refer to Managing Tables for details.
pdbctl utility. Refer to Configure column-level encryption settings for details.
Migrate the data. The migration process recreates views and triggers using the new column. Refer to Encrypt column for details.
