Upgrade CDP
The CDP for MSSQL software is regularly updated to include new features and provide fixes to any issues occurring in previous releases. By upgrading your CDP software, you can benefit from the new features added and enhancements made to the product.
During the upgrade, the installer does the following:
Creates a directory called
<Install_home>\ARCHIVE
.Copies the
ingicspwrapper.dll
file to the installation directory.Replaces the
IngIntegratedCore.dll
file in the installation directory.Copies the old properties file to the ARCHIVE folder and creates a new properties file in the installation directory. The new properties file contains new values that were entered while upgrading CDP. The remaining parameters are left with default values. To edit these parameters, you can copy the values from the old properties file stored in the ARCHIVE folder.
Updates the schema, and regenerates the stored procedures and UDFs.
Updates the CDP version number in the database.
