Viewing Encryption Keys

Encryption keys that are used for encryption of ProtectV clients and their instances can be viewed on the CipherTrust Manager.

To view the encryption keys:

1. Log on to the CipherTrust Manager GUI.

2. Open the ProtectV application.

3. In the left pane, click Keys. The Keys page is displayed. This page lists the keys that are used for encrypting ProtectV clients and their instances.

   

   The following details are displayed:

   Item	Description
   Name	Name of the key.
   Owner	Owner of the key.
   Updated At	Time the key was updated.
   Algorithm	Algorithm of the key.
   Size	Size of the key. The default size is 256 bits.
   Type	Type of the key. The default type is Symmetric.
