Rebranded to CipherTrust Application Key Management (CAKM) for Oracle TDE.
Migration from Vormetric Key Management (VKM) to CAKM for Oracle TDE.
Updated installer to perform basic configuration such as NAE IP address and port. Refer to Installing and Configuring CAKM for Oracle TDE for details.
Support for silent installation.
Support for Oracle GoldenGate 19C

Note
Migration from VKM to CAKM for Oracle TDE is supported from CipherTrust Manager 2.5.2 and higher.
Resolved and Known Issues
As this is the first release, there are no known or resolved issues specific to this release.
Upgrade Paths
CAKM for Oracle TDE can be upgraded from:
SafeNet PKCS#11 library to CAKM for Oracle TDE
From To SafeNet PKCS#11 library CAKM for Oracle TDE 8.10.0 or higher Note
Upgrade is validated from SafeNet PKCS#11 Library 8.3.0 and higher.
VKM to CAKM for Oracle TDE
From To VKM 6.3.0 or higher CAKM for Oracle TDE provider 8.10.0 or higher DSM 6.4.4 or higher CipherTrust Manager 2.5.2 and higher
Limitation
In this release, installation of CAKM for Oracle TDE using CipherTrust Manager username (in the format
<cm_users>
) is only supported. Installation of CAKM for Oracle TDE using LDAP username (in the formatldap||<cm_user>
) is not supported.In this release, Load Balancing and Multi-Tier functionality is not supported with the Manual HSM Wallet.
