Create Global Session Using SSL with Client Certificates
To use SSL with client certificate authentication, you’ll must pass a client certificate, even when creating a global session.
Note:
— You do not have to pass the client certificate from your application. You can instead specify the certificate in the CADP_for_JAVA.properties
file and not create a session object at all.
— If you do create a session object, remember that any value specified programmatically overrides corresponding values specified in the properties file.
— To create a global session by sending a client certificate to the NAE Server, Client Certificate Authentication must be enabled on the server.
To create a global session using a client certificate:
Create an
NAEClientCertificate
object.Create an
NAESession
object and pass theNAEClientCertificate
object as a parameter.NAEClientCertificate clientCert = new NAEClientCertificate ("Cert2", "Cert2Password".toCharArray()); NAESession session = NAESession.getSession(clientCert);
