Agents
You can download most SafeNet agents from the Customer Support Portal.
To encrypt the traffic and to prevent unauthorized agents, the Virtual Server requires that each agent use an identical encryption key file.
SafeNet Synchronization Agent
SafeNet Synchronization Agentenables you to sync users in LDAP or SQL user groups to a SafeNet Authentication Service (SAS) user store. Without the SafeNet Synchronization Agent, the administrator must manually input user information via the web-based management interface. With the SafeNet Synchronization Agent configured, LDAP or SQL user groups are monitored for membership changes and user information updates are automatically made in SAS to reflect these changes.
SafeNet Remote Logging Agent
SafeNet Remote Logging Agent transmits data regarding authentication activity and operator activity (if configured) to a designated receiving agent situated on the local computer of the vendor. This data can subsequently be presented and accessed through various channels such as the event viewer, syslog, or log file.
SafeNet FreeRADIUS Agent
SafeNet FreeRADIUS Agent is a customizable and open-source RADIUS Server that efficiently acquires authentication data through the utilization of the RADIUS protocol, operating over IP/UDP or IP/TCP. The SafeNet Authentication Service (SAS) Agent for FreeRADIUS is an exceptionally secure and enterprise-grade authentication agent, facilitating seamless communication between RADIUS clients and the SAS platform, employing the RADIUS protocol.
SafeNet NPS Agent
SafeNet NPS Agent enhances the security of Microsoft's Network Policy Server (NPS) environments by redirecting RADIUS requests received by NPS to the SafeNet server, thereby enabling robust authentication capabilities. NPS, being the Microsoft implementation of a Remote Authentication Dial-In User Service (RADIUS) server, is an integral component of the Windows Server 2012, 2016, and 2019 families. NPS serves as a centralized platform for performing authentication, authorization, and accounting functions for various network access scenarios, including wireless connections, authenticated switches, remote access (dial-up and VPN), and router-to-router connections.
SafeNet Keycloak Agent
SafeNet Keycloak Agent enables integration of a Keycloak Identity Provider (IDP) to SAS. Users deploying the Keycloak IDP in their network can take advantage of SAS PCE as the provider of Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA). The agent is deployed as an extension of the Keycloak software and thereby provides configuration options on Keycloak that enable secure integration with your SAS system.
