partition

Access commands used to manage partitions on the HSM. These commands are used by the HSM SO to create. delete, or resize partitions on the HSM. The partitions are owned by the Partition SO, and configured using LunaCM.

Create a challenge secret password for the Crypto Officer or Crypto User on a multifactor quorum-authenticated partition. See partition createChallenge.

Delete an application partition from the HSM. See partition delete.

Initialize a newly created application partition, creating the PSO role (optional via LunaSH, if you prefer to do this via the Client-side LunaCM commands). See partition init.

Initialize the Crypto Officer (CO) role on a newly created application partition, using the credential of the newly created PSO role (optional via LunaSH, if you prefer to do this via the Client-side LunaCM commands). See partition init co.

The Crypto Officer can use this command to create a Crypto User role on the partition. See partition init cu.

list

Display a list of the accessible partitions. See partition list.

rename

Renames the specified partition. See partition rename.

resize

Re-sizes the storage space for a partition. See partition resize.

Restore the contents of an application partition from a backup HSM. See partition restore.

show

Display information for a partition. See partition show.
showcontents showc Using this command, the Crypto Officer can display a list of all objects on a partition. See partition showContents.
showpolicies showp Display the policy settings of the specified partition. See partition showPolicies.
stcidentity st

Export the specified partition's public key to a file. See partition stcidentity.
