Integration with CipherTrust Manager

This section provides the process of integrating Rubrik with the CipherTrust Manager in the sequence mentioned below.

1. Upload CA Certificate to Rubrik

2. Configure KMIP Server to Rubrik

Upload CA Certificate to Rubrik

1. Copy the local CA certificate to clipboard.

2. In Rubrik Certificate Management Console, add the CA certificate that you generated from CipherTrust Manager by pasting the certificate from the clipboard to the Certificate field. Specify the Display Name, and click Add.

   Now you can view both client certificate and CA certificate in the Certificates list.

Configure KMIP Server as CipherTrust Manager

1. Select Manage Encryption on the System Configuration page.

   

2. Under the KMIP Settings tab, click Configure Client Settings.

   

   

3. On the Add KMIP Server page, enter the KMIP Server Address and Port of the KMIP server. Select a TLS certificate, and click Add.

After successful configuration, an AES key is generated that will appear on the list available under CipherTrust Manager > Keys.

This completes the integration of Rubrik with the CipherTrust Manager.
