Resolved Issues
-
AGT-44873 [CS1460358]: Agenthealth reports GuardPoint status incorrectly
The issue occurred when multiple GuardPoints shared an identical, partial path. This has been fixed.
-
AGT-44878 [CS1461385]: GuardPoints automatically fall into an unguarded state
The GuardPoint became inactive because the Fibre Channel drives were unmounting and therefore, going offline. However, when it remounted, the GuardPoint did not re-activate. The fix that was implemented is that now, CipherTrust Transparent Encryption checks for the state of the drive after it remounts. This fix applies to any raw device, regardless of the drive technology.
-
AGT-45117 [CS1465806] AgentHealth shows VMD is running FAILED when it seems to be working
The customer had
/opt
as aJFS
. For the JFS file system to work, the filter type needs to be persistent and JFS2 needs to be client. The solution was to change the code so that it does not filter on the file system.
End of Life
- CipherTrust Transparent Encryption v7.4 is the last version in which AIX v7.1 will be supported. CipherTrust Transparent Encryption v7.5 and subsequent versions will no longer support it.
