Renew client certificate
While creating the application on CipherTrust Manager, the Application Data Protection admin configures the Certificate Duration (in days). When the certificate expiry duration ranges from 90-60 days, the client logs the Client certificate will expire in <number> Days notification message daily. To renew the client certificate, use either of the ways:
When the Certificate Auto Renewal toggle is enabled, the client certificate is automatically renewed when its expiration is less than 60 days, and the message Client certificate renewed successfully is logged.
When Certificate Auto Renewal is not enabled, you will have to manually renew the certificate before expiration. To renew it manually, restart your CRDP container.
As soon as the CRDP container comes up, it will get the new certificate and configurations from the CipherTrust Manager.
