Microsoft Entra ID

This document describes how to integrate Microsoft Entra ID with the SafeNet IDPrime Virtual (IDPV) Server as an Identity Provider (IdP). This provides the ability to enable single sign-on for users accessing SafeNet IDPrime Virtual through Microsoft Entra ID.

The Microsoft Entra ID app registration require relevant permissions. Refer to the Microsoft documentation for required permissions.

Prerequisites

Users and groups should be created (or present with proper group membership) in Microsoft Entra ID.

1. Login to Microsoft Entra ID portal with required admin rights to create users. Go to Azure Active directory > Users > Add users. Provide the details for the user account. Click Save.

2. To create Groups on Microsoft Entra ID. Login to Microsoft Entra ID portal with required admin rights. Go to Create Groups > Azure Active directory > Groups > New Group.

3. Provide the group details. Go to Add members > Users. Click Save.
