ProtectToolkit-C mechanisms
Characteristics of all ProtectToolkit-C mechanisms are summarized in this section. PKCS#11-standard mechanisms and Thales-proprietary mechanisms are listed in Available mechanisms, along with their availability in FIPS Mode. Select an individual mechanism to view its full description.

If a mechanisms is listed as available in FIPS Mode, it may only be available if you are using a specific firmware version. Refer to the description of the mechanism for more information.
Key size limitations specified below may be further limited, depending on the specific operation being performed. For example, CKM_DES3_CBC specifies a 16-byte key as a lower limit, but in FIPS Mode, such keys are only allowed for legacy decryption operations and not new encryptions. Refer to the description of the mechanism for more information.
