Authenticating
In step 2, IdCloud returned the decision of the policy manager for this operation. It can be one of the following:
- Password: User should authenticate with a password
- OTP: User should authenticate with an OTP
- 1FA: User should authenticate with a custom authentication method managed by the bank
- 2FA: User should authenticate with a custom authentication method managed by the bank
- 3FA: User should authenticate with a custom authentication method managed by the bank
- Denied: User should be denied the operation.
It is up to the bank to decide what to do next. It should follow the decision and request from the user the proper level of authentication. The bank may also decide to use a higher level of authentication than recommended because, for example, the user does not have that exact authentication method available.
Once the user has been authenticated, please proceed to the next step where you will provide feedback of the authentication process to IdCloud.
