Windows Installation
Before continuing with the SafeNet ProtectToolkit-J installation, ensure that you have installed SafeNet ProtectToolkit-C Runtime. For details, please refer to the SafeNet ProtectToolkit-C Administration Guide.
The SafeNet ProtectToolkit-J Runtime package must be installed before the SafeNet ProtectToolkit-J Software Development Kit (SDK).
NOTE To add or remove software, you must have Administrator privileges.
The installation also allows the SafeNet ProtectToolkit-J directory to be automatically added to the system’s execution path. This will make the newly-installed programs and libraries available from the command prompt.

To install the package, execute the PTKjprt.msi program. This will start the installation wizard. Follow the on-screen instructions to install the software. If you wish to install the SDK, repeat the process with the PTKjpsdk.msi program.
The installation program will create a new program group named Safenet\ProtectToolkit J\Runtime and add it to your Start menu. Program files are saved to C:\Program Files\SafeNet\Protect Toolkit 5.
Windows Uninstallation
To uninstall the SafeNet ProtectToolkit-J Runtime, open your Windows Control Panel and double-click on the Add/Remove Program icon. Locate the entry for the SafeNet ProtectToolkit-J installation and click on the remove button.
