network route delete

Delete a manually-configured network route from the appliance's routing tables.

CAUTION!   Use this command only under the advice and supervision of your network administrator.

Syntax

network route delete <route_type> <IP_address> [-device <interface>] [-metric <metric>] [-netmask <netmask>] [-gateway <IP_address>] [-force]

<route_type>

 

Specifies the type of route you want to delete.

Valid values: host, network

<IP_address>

 

Specifies the IP address of the route you want to delete.

-device <interface>

-d

Specifies the interface you want to configure.

Valid values: eth0, eth1

-metric <metric>

-m

Specifies the routing metric for the route.

Range: 0-65535

–netmask <netmask>

-n

Specifies the network mask for the route, in dotted-decimal format (for example, 255.255.255.0).

-gateway <IP_address>

-g

Specifies the IP address of the gateway for the route.

-force

-f

Force the action without prompting.
