sysconf config backup

Backs up configuration data. This command creates a backup of the configuration of the following modules
and services:

user accounts and files

network settings

syslog settings

NTP settings

SNMP settings

SSH settings

NTLS settings

keys and certificates.

It does not include the HSM and partition configurations. You can save the backup file to the internal HSM, or an external backup token using the sysconf config export command.

Syntax

sysconf config backup -description <comment>

Parameter Shortcut Description   
-description -d    Comment describing this backup.  The description must enclosed in double quotes if it contains spaces.  
-factoryConfig   -f   This option is used only by Gemalto in manufacturing and test - no customer use-case.  

Example

lunash:>sysconf config backup -description mybackup2
Created configuration backup file: smyluna_Config_20120221_1725.tar.gz.
