| LHSM-13274 | DOC: DCHP and bonding do not play well together Because bonding parameters are static, if your SA ever gets a new IP from the DHCP server different from that which was set at the time of bonding configuration, the bonding settings will not update automatically. Bonding should only be configured on static network configurations. But there is nothing stopping you in lush. Should be documented. UPDATE: Added new "network interface bonding" pages to LunaSH Command Reference, including a statement "Use port bonding only with static addressing. If you set bonding where dynamically allocated addressing is in use, then any future change in a DHCP lease would break interface bonding." |
