Secure Command Line Interface (lunash)

The HSM appliance includes the secure Command Line Interface ( the lunash shell-prompt) to permit administration and management of all the functionality on the HSM appliance, including:

Depending on the type of administrative user you are, you can perform different activities on the HSM appliance through the secure CLI. The HSM appliance recognizes several types of administrators described in “Administration and Client Users”.

Connect to the secure CLI using a secure shell application (network), or a direct serial link (null-modem serial cable) from your administration computer.  Below is an example of a PuTTY.exe terminal on a Windows client.
