HPE StoreEver
HPE StoreEver is a tape automation product that helps SMB customers to meet long-term data retention requirements, as well as provides air-gapped data protection from the growing threat of ransomware. The HPE StoreEver tape library offers broad capacity options including LTO-9, LTO-8, LTO-7, or LTO-6 Ultrium drives. HPE CVTL makes the HPE StoreEver tape library easy to manage from any location, mitigating the need for remote office IT staff. You can simply manage tape media in and out of the library with the standard bar code reader, configurable mail slots, and removable magazines.
Using the Key Management Interoperability Protocol (KMIP) Wizard, you can set up KMIP key management servers with the MSL3040 and MSL6480 libraries. The wizard is accessible through the Encryption menu on the RMI, but only for the security user and requires a KMIP license.
If a tape is lost or stolen, you can protect important business data from unauthorized access with data encryption.
