Installation Steps
To install the CT-VL on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) using the image:
Contact Thales Customer Support, and provide your GCP account and region details for access to the CT-VL disk image.
Note
CT-VL is also available as a tar image file. Thales Customer Support places the image Tar file in the gs://cts-release support folder. Refer to the cloud provider user guide to know how to convert the tar file to a disk image and create a virtual machine on the platform.
Log in to the GCP console and navigate to Compute Engine > VM Instances > Create Instance.
Set a name, region, and zone for your instance.
Select your machine configuration as per the prerequisites.
Select Boot disk, and navigate to Change > Custom Images.
In the Show Images tab, look for the project name that Thales Support has provided and select that project.
Select the Image tab and look for the latest CT-VL GA release and select it. For example, ctvl-240-216.
Choose a boot disk type, for example, Standard or SSD.
