Installing CT-VL on Hyper-V
Prerequisites for Installing CT-VL on Hyper-V
- The - .isoimage or- VHDfile.
- Minimum recommended settings for the CT-VL VM: 4 CPUs, 16GB memory. 
Installation Steps
Note
- Install the CT-VL instance on a Hyper-V server using an ISO or VHD image file. 
- Download the - ctvl-<release>.isoor- ctvl-<release>.vhdfile to the Hyper-V server.
Use the following steps to install the CT-VL on a Hyper-V:
- Open Hyper-V Manager. 
- Select Action > New > Virtual Machine. 
- Choose Generation 1. 
- Set the start up memory to 16GB. 
- Choose a network adapter. 
- For the VM, choose one of the following based on the type of image file to be used: - VHD image: Use an existing hard disk: Select CT-VL VHD image file you have downloaded or copied. 
- ISO image: Install an operating system from a bootable CD/DVD-ROM. Navigate to and select the downloaded ISO file. 
 
- Select Finish to create the Virtual Machine. 
- For ISO installation: Select and start the Virtual Machine. The VM will boot the mounted ISO image file and install the CT-VL.
